Not too bad. I could trim it down a bit because I don't take floor mats and a footprint, and my cooking kit is a bit more compact. Also my kids are older so less toys in general.. But at least there's not three sofas, a telly, the microwave, full portable shower...
My lightweight list is here btw. That's for 2-7 nights My "heavyweight" kit isn't much more come to think of it, except I take the trailer tent instead so cooking gear and bedding varies. But that's for 4-7 weeks. Must update it a bit actually...the kids don't use the microscooters any more.

But you just reminded me we are considering removing the spare tyre and replacing it with holts puncture repair.
A shame you live up in Scotland. I have pair of Vauxhall Omega Specific roofbars sat in my garage doing nothing.

That's a lovely offer Dozy. We do Love our Miggi and we couldn't really use them. Thank you.

You do sound like you have half a car full of bedding ;-)
And that 25 L water container will take a fair bit of space if rigid. Unless it will be a trrek for water we find a 10L one big enough.
Carefull with removing with spare wheel - I never really trust the sealant stuff ever since it didn't work for me many years ago on my motorbike.
And soem breakdown cover won't cover a puncture if you don't have a legal spare wheel.
Hey Scrumble we have just got new bedding a double all weather sleeping bag, a new one for the little one and we will keep our throws. Saves us a lot of space.
It isn't a 25ltr i forgot we replaced that for a 10 ltr but i am considering even smaller.
Thanks for all advice really need to condense.

LOL Val looking at portable DVD players for little one, but who needs them when living outside with all the fresh air. Really trying to condense but a 4 yr old doesn't help as found things on this recent camp trip i didn't pack lol.
Anyway just been on a shopping trip and spent too much on camping gear.
Got back yesterday from carradale bay, camping, second camping of the season. working out what is essential and what is not for bigger trips.
You'd think after years of camping you'd know.

Car full of bedding? Sounds familiar! Been experimenting with different varietys of pillows, but just cant beat a normal pillow!! lol :)
One day, I shall invest in a travel size goose down pillow, just can't justify the high cost at present!
