Just saw a trailer for "Don't Get Done, Get Dom" which has an episode about "...a couple whose caravan is suffering from damp problems, and Dom takes their case to the manufacture." Seems it was a new caravan in question.

Could be interesting for any current/prospective caravan owner. We have a FC but I'm recording it just out of sheer interest after reading about so many damp problems in threads on here.

Being broadcast today - May 7th at 11:00 on BBC1. Previous episodes are on iPlayer so this episode should be on there in due course.

Yes, appears to be after looking at that thread. BBC must be repeating the whole series then. I missed it first time round, and wasn't a member here then, so it's 'new' to me and probably others.

Yes it must have been a year ago as Swift eventually replaced the couples caravan with a brand new 2013 model they said.

Unfortunately most people get 'done' when buying second hand rather than from new. I have never bought a new caravan but surely buying from a dealer must include a damp warranty?
