if the fabric is the same as the peace tepee, it won't be as good as the bear lake. i have the peace tepee and the fabric is not as thick and isn't as breathable.

thats one good looking tent, but dont expect outwell owners to agree, they seem to thing all vangos are of inferior quality, dont know why.
we've had plenty of vangos and plenty of outwells over the years and each tent has brought it's experiences. We even tried to see a Vango Zanzibar when we were looking for a polycotton tent but couldn't find anywhere that had one pitched and I like to see a tent pitched before I buy so ended up buying the BL6.
P.S. I did recommend the Vango Icarus 500 to my friend when she was looking for a tent so we don't think the vangos are inferior

not offended at all, but didn't want you to think I was opposed to owning a Vango cause I have an Outwell now. I think what you're talking about also happens in the caravanning section the main one being Bailey, those for and those against lol. We even had a Pro-action tent when we first started out and they get slated but that was the only tent we didn't have problems with, we just couldn't stand up in it lol

I completely agree Dave, have seen it lots on here. But lets not get started on that one........again!!!
I think one of the problems is what the dealers put on display, last tent show we went to seemed to display mostly Outwells and Sprayways and not many Vangos at all and Go outdoors just seem to have loads of Gelert/Hi-Gear and Outwells. One feature I really like on the Vango is the velcro fastners for the guyropes (not got em on BL )
