It's not too bad to pitch, it has 2 equal poles, which you slide through the extension in the same way as the tent.
The poles have the 'keys" which you fit into the bottom to keep it taught, which can be a bit fiddly.
But it will pop into shape, clip the straps onto the second ridge of your tent, move into position and peg down.
I put the flaps in then peg my ground sheet over the top.

I had a go at pitching the tent and extension this morning, it was surprisingly easy and I'm generally hopeless !
Its obviously not guyed out properly but does it look OK otherwise ?
There is no groundsheet, would one of those weaveatex things be the best idea ?
