Following on from HERE, I thought it only right, proper, and sensible, to put the results under a more suitably entitled thread, for search purposes.

£95 the lot, (No courier involved... I dropped it off and collected, myself), done in exactly one week, and if looks are anything to go by, this is almost certainly going to end in a great big success... fingers crossed!!
Of course, looks aren't everything, and after a 20min light shower, all is still A OK! There are showers a-plenty on their way, apparently, so hopefully, there will be no need to take my hose out, and I'll let nature takes it's course.
I'll report back either way, to confirm the final verdict, but at this stage, it looks likely that, before the weekend is out, I will be sending a massive thank you and well done Email to CANVAS REPAIR CENTRE, in Burton on Trent.

Really pleased for you. Looks a good job and I feel sure your post will be useful to people who have similar repairs in the future. I just wonder how many people have got rid of tents with rips not knowing there are expert repairers out there. At first when you said £95 I thought that seems a lot for one tear but now seeing the pics and all the other smaller repairs carried out it seems quite a fair price to me. Geoff
Barrie at canvas repair is a nice bloke. They do a really good job on all kinds of repairs,
Dont forget they will pick up and deliver, and a fast turn around too.

Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
Yep I saw that too they will arrange collection and delivery (at a cost obviously). At least if the worst were to happen you could get a quote add on the delivery and work out if it's worth doing...
Once again well done Mucker as companies like the one you have found are probably a bit thin on the ground. I know Crowlands near Peterborough do repairs but it would good to have a list of reputable repair establishments around the UK.
Didn't realise I was quite so lucky... just googled local tent repairers and struck lucky first time, I guess!!
Muckerettte reckons if you look really closely, and follow the line of the stitching, you can tell where they have done it, and can tell the difference (between original and new). That's not to say one is better than the other, just different. :-)
But you wouldn't know without knowing, IYKWIM!
I can confirm the £95 was for three separate repairs.
Moreover, I can also now confirm that it has been raining almost constantly since late morning, and some of it heavy enough to bounce back up off the road, and having just got home and checked inside the tent, it is bone dry! :-)
A 100% success in my book, and I will find time to Email "My tent repairer" tomorrow, to let them know how thrilled.... and relieved... I am.
Sincere thanks for all the kind, not so kind, funny, and of course, the downright crude comments, throughout this episode, and the two related threads. Education, information, and wit running smoothly side by side by side!!
I believe that was 95 GBP well-spent myself, well done to the tent repairer.

Thats a job well done Mucker, I bet you are chuffed to bits! A professional job done by folks who take pride in their work. A quality sadly missing in this day and age.
All you need to do now is test it to its limits with the dead squirrel gang up in Glencoe! For quality assurance purposes you understand!
