Hi. Does any one know of a caravan park that will be open at Christmas and New Year which will accept a dog and has an onsite restaurant or pub serving Christmas Lunch? Not really looking for a HUGE park, like Butlins or Haven, adult only would be great. Ideally within 50/75 miles of Guildford, Surrey. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Not sure how far away it is for you but Seacroft caravan club site at Cromer have a club/resteraunt on site and they do a meal with extras on Xmas day and a New Years do.
Wouldn't take too much notice if the web site says it's full I think they must keep a few spaces for people who want to go to the do's. Best ringing and saying thats why you want to go.
Good walking for the dog around there and also theres the beach which is dog friendly at that time of year.
New years day (evening) fantastic free (donation) firework display from the pier.
As for adult only there were very few children whilst we were there at New year.
Bowdens Crest in Somerset is always a popular choice on here.

Bar etc are not open on new Year's Eve as far as I can work out. We are looking at the possibility of going somewhere over New Year, but we would like there to be something going on.

We are also looking, but just over New Year - no dog, but one 12 year old. Doesn't matter where, but preferably south (generally warmer!!)
We have booked into Diamond farm Bletchingdon Oxon. for 4 nights 24/12 to 28/12.We have always wanted to do Christmas in the Caravan. Looking forward to it.

Just to clarify - Yes we are open for Christmas & Lunch is available. However, this year although the site is open over new year the bar etc is closed.
david, thats what i'm looking for aswel. The campsite is the main thing but we'd like a pub just to have our tea or a drink early on before we get back to put kids to bed. I don't realy just want a pub where you can camp.
Rivendale, Derbys is a nice site with a pub on site and a resteraunt below, thay usually have something on on new year. the facilities are always nice and warm too.
Callow Top, Derbys ahs a pub too, though it is a much larger site.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
