You should be able to purchase travelcards from Waltham cross however it may cost a bit more as it's one station outside the London zone.... see map HERE
trains go to either Liverpool St, or Stratford.
I've just checked and I THINK a travelcard fro Waltham cross is £12.30 where as from Enfield Lock one stop away ( and inside the London Zone) it's £8.
Will you drive and leave the car at Waltham cross??? If so maybe worth driving to enfield Lock????
