I'm towing the van to Lochinver this weekend ..... and would appreciate some tips on where to fuel i.e. cheap fuel but easy to fuel with a van....

I'm staying at Mount View Abington Sat, Blair Athol Sun/Mon, Clachtol Tu-Thur Fri ???, at Mount View Abington Sat ....

I'm looking here http://www.petrolprices.com - and so far I've got A74 Shell Carlisle Nth - just above JCT 44

Hate to say this, the further north the more expensive, Lochinver was the highest price we paid last year. The avg price given on http://www.petrolprices.com/ is what we are paying here in the borders(Peebles Area)

You wont have any trouble filling up in Lochinver, but if there is no one there just ring the bell

Here's where we fuelled all at approx £1 a litre for diesel ........

Todhills Service A74 Northbound - Shell - South bound is BP + 2p more per litre

A80 Old inns Cumbernauld  - Shell North and South

Morrisons Inverness

Also went to Tesco at J43 on the way back for provisions ...
