I discovered them last night on my perpetual hunt for the perfect sleeping mat. I'm sorely tempted. Excellent price as well.

Yes, I saw those; but they are much thinner than the 'fat', and not as wide as two 'fats' and not as long as a 'fat', don't you think?

They need to make it wide and fat and long then I might think about it but I probably wouldn't be able to roll it up.

It was that missing 3 cm of "fat" that put me off though did like the idea of rolling over without "falling off".

I just know I'm going to be regretting my purchase of a cheaper thinner slimmer narrower mat!

Oh well, there's always next year.

They need to make it wide and fat and long then I might think about it but I probably wouldn't be able to roll it up.

There's not much in it; the Wide is 198cm x 120 cm and the Fat is 202cm x 62cm so, apart from the thickness, 2 x Fats would not a have much bigger footprint (and the Wide won't move so much).

I think they'd be great for kid's bedroom inners....

I still don't think me and the O/H would fit comfortably on a 1.2 wide mattress (4ft! Ha!). We might need one each.....

No there's not much in it, you're right Liddenham but the extra 4cm in length makes a difference to me as I'm 5'10.

I think on balance I prefer the 'fats' though. I agree with martinandzoe but will tell you what I think after two weeks sleeping on them. They may drive me mad moving apart.

Any ideas if there is anywhere I can still get airics? I would really love a wee but fat airic but as they don't make them a regular would do. Alpkit are out of stock and don't know when they will have any.

Yep, just went to order a fat airic and they're out of stock. I'll give them two weeks and if they're still out I'll have to take my custom elsewhere (bah !) Anyone have any tried and tested alternative reccomendations to an Airic (fat or otherwise) ?

martin
