Hello, I think we will go for one of those electric hook up thingy-me-bobs, Our bell tent has a sewn in groundsheet, How will I go about this, will I have to cut the canvas??.. we havent put the tent up yet, I really dont have I clue ..

I'm guessing there will be a point in the door or somewhere you can run the cable with minimal draughts.... Whether it's something you can do without creating a trip hazard is something you'll have to experiment with.

A trial erection (oo-err Missus Miggins) might be in order to figure out where you'll run the power.

I converted an old camera tripod for our EHU by just taking the pan and tilt head off it. EHU just hooks over the top.

My Bell tent has a sewn in groundsheet and therefore there are no other entrances other than the door.
I'm afraid that the ehu lead has to come in at the centre of the door where both door flaps zip together.
I tuck it under the outside of the tent and where the lead comes in, lay a mat over the top of it.
