Recently come back from a couple of nights at Durdle Door Campsite and the last night the wind got up.
It got me thinking about tent pegs as the ones we use are the standard ones which came with the tent. So I was thinking about getting some stronger ones and wondered which to go for.
I have seen Heavy Duty plasic ones, Twisted metal ones and V-Grooved ones - so any advice would be great.

What is a delta peg?
Seriously, Deltas rock.
Grab hold of Rob Orr and get him to sort you out with a few
Angie
Just be careful where you grab though......could bring a tear to a man's eye.
Rock pegs for the hardest ground,
Delta pegs for the remaining 90%
I can feel a storm coming...

Delta Ground Anchors..the strongest, most secure tent pegs in the world! Nylon anchors twice as efficient as rock pegs in 'average' soil! Quality stainless pegs for tougher soil are available.
Angie, the soft gloves would be good especially if there was a directly proportionate decrease in the pressure around the grabbing area (or 'grabbage') whatever area that may be in.
Delta Rocks, yep, doing it. Will let you know. I may even send you a free sample.

Rob, I use Deltas on guylines and very good they are too. But I've never used them for pegging the rings (of the ring-n-pins), the ground loops round the edge of the flysheet or the big D-rings on the corner tensioning straps. Or on the pegging rubbers at the base of my TT flysheet.. Am I missing something here?
(I use either ground pegs or beefed up 12" crook tops on the key points at the base, or V-profile pegs on the corner D-rings. I keep the pegs that came with the tent for non-essential cosmetic pegging inside the tent.)
Forgive me Val, I am a man after all and I can only think of one thing...
guys.
Oh, and ground condition.
