Can anyone give me any tips on where i can acquire original manuals/user instructions for our Carver heater & water heater, I would much prefer the original manuals, and don't particulaly want to d/l and print my own as they will be for the benefit of potential buyers shortly.
Also i am looking to find an original manual for the caravan (lunar Clubman 390/2). I have looked in the usual places ie: ebay, amazon, abebooks etc, but no joy as yet. - I already have a self-printed 'copy' but would prefer the original documents.
hi we have just purchased a lunar clubman 390-2 as well and we are after a bit more info on them ie.water heater, heating etc so any info would be handy .Have ditched the sunncamp palace we brought in august 06 an opted for a lunar lol

Sorrry its not the clubman stated above its a 460 2 e k so if you have any info on that model that would be great, thanks.Went to the van today as we have it on a site to test things out plugged in EHU ,sockets and fridge working, water heater and warm air heater not working ,lights not working and water pump not working .Turned on battery charger everything works is this a fuse problem if so what size fuses do we need grateful for any help. Would Halfords sell them or do we have to go to a specialist caravan dealer. Thanks sue.

If you don't have a battery then the charger needs to be on to get some 12 volts while on hookup. If you do have a battery then the switch needs to be set to 'caravan' and if no voltage then perhaps the batteries flat
It's probably not a fuse problem but the Carver Cascade water heater and Caravelle room heater must only use 1amp fuses and 20mm x 5mm is the size to ask for. The fuse holders inside hte control switches often come loose so check both ends are gripping the fuse. You might get them at Halfords but I use Maplin Electronics who are in many large towns.
Hi gary, with the EHU connected and switched on ,when we switch the battery charger switch to caravan, lights heater and water heater go off sockets and fridge ok any idea where the problem is ,do we leave the battery charger on all the time.....the battery seems to have plenty of power in it so it operates ok with the battery charger and EHU all on .Is it designed to have both on all the time a bit confused as this is our first van lol
Hi susietess , we leave our battery charger on all the time , are you sure your switching to " Caravan " on the switch and not to " car " ( is the switch back to front ? / wired incorrectly ) . Do you have any fuses near the switches ( sometimes the fuses have a round holder , looks like a large black plastic screw , they are normally on the switch panel ) maybe there are some blown fuses . Also check to see if you have a blown inline fuse between the battery charger and the battery .
Not sure what Lunar fitted in the way of chargers but mid to late 80's won't be much and most probably designed to be left on. Get a multi meter and check the voltage output from the charger without being connected to the battery. 13 point something volts is good but over 14v and you won't be able to leave it switched on, however I doubt it will get as high as that and I would suspect a reading a little less than 13v.
Bit of confusion over the control panel, the caravan/car switch means 12v power from caravan battery while set to caravan, and charge from car for the van battery when set to car. While on hookup the charge is from the vans charger (if this is switched on and it often has a seperate switch) but the caravan/car switch should still be set to caravan.
Thanks for all the info .Have been in touch with the previous owner and he said to leave the charger switched on,thanks for everything, If this does not work and any of the other solutions do not work either then hubby said he will go back to camping in the tent lol
