We bought this to add a porch and cooking area on to our Vango Colorado 800dlx.
We bought it at the same time as the tent, because we had always used a gazebo outside to cook under with our previous tent, and wanted a separate 'kitchen' area which was more enclosed from the weather, as well as not having to constantly pay extra onsite for a gazebo!
It is easy to put up, but like other reviewers, we had to jiggle it a bit to get a reasonable fit, hence the 9 out of 10.
It sometimes shifts a bit from where it is stretched over the top of the tent, not enough to be a problem and easy to adjust, but a minor inconvenience nonetheless.
Other than that, it has been a fabulous addition in that we can keep all our shoes and outdoor gear in there on one side, and our cooking stand, pans and cooking utensils in the other, there is even a space in the corner next to the stand for our bin!
Even when the weather is wet, everything stays dry inside, it also stands up well to windy conditions.
On hot days the wide front door can be opened up using the 'king poles' to create a sitting area with shade, and to allow air into the tent.
If it is cooler or wet, it is big enough, even with the cooker stand etc inside, to accommodate two chairs, great for that first cup of tea in the morning.
Purchasing this has meant that we have so much more space inside our tent which does not need to be taken up with kitchen and cooking equipment.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for extra space, it really does give you more than enough. Just make sure that it will fit your tent.

Originally had the Vango large sun canopy, but this was like a big wind sock with the open end so upgraded to the tent extension as it has a door which can be closed to keep wind out. This is a brilliant addition to our wynnster phoenix 4 tent. Bought as protection from the weather on the large front door of the tent, used for storage and cooking couldn't do without it now, as earlier review no ground sig so bought a large groundsheet online & adapted it. This extension looks like it would fit on to a large range of tents & will be moving it onto the next tent I buy. All in all a great buy I would recommend to any one looking for more space

We've now used it twice with our Tigris 400 - both times over the front door of the tent. It certainly adds a lot of space and gives storage for all the bits and bobs we take with us.
Still not mastered exactly how to get a 'close fit' to the tent - almost now think that it might not be possible to completely get the extension to match the tent contour . But does this matter really - not sure that it does.
It doesn't come with a groundsheet so I simply customised one from B&Q to good effect.
All in all it's a worthwhile addition to our Tigris 400 but in retrospect it would have been better just to have purchased a bigger tent in the first place.
Our Tigris 400 was about £160 when we bought it. The extension was £70. A total of £230 would have bought a lot of tent if we'd chosen another style or manufacturer.
So all it all, if you already have a Vango and need more space then it's a good buy. If you're thinking of buying at the same time as buying your tent then don't - just buy a bigger tent in the first place.

This extension doubles the space in our Vango Tigris 400: it's like a cathedral! So far only used in good weather and perhaps would be wary of using it in coastal or exposed location. Score given due to confusion about where and how this is meant to fit on to the tent. We had to re-position guys and found the tent was pulled slightly out of shape by trying to bring the extension as close to the tent as possible. Maybe we don't need to do this, so will continue 'playing'! All in all a useful addition, just a couple of observations - we don't use a groundsheet so maybe this is why the windows need a wipeover first thing to remove condensation. Also it seems to dry more slowly than the actual tent, as we noticed when packing up.

We bought this extension to go with our Vango Orchy 600 to use for all the kitchen bits and bobs and to cook in.
Impressed with the size, it certainly makes it easier to store all the things you need and gives shelter from the elements.
Putting it up we didn't find the easiest but I think its because we became too concerned with getting a snug fit. We were unable to get the roof near the tent taut but have plans when we put it up again to try and get it closer to the tent.
Wouldn't be without the extra space but its a shame the fit isn't better on our tent.

This is a brilliant upgrade from the vango canopy the door gives you more protection from the elements and also the added advantage of being able to zip it shut at night to keep your cooker and table in we left all our shoes inside and even after torrential rain and winds they stayed dry in the middle area. Only a small amount of water from the tent sides came onto the groundsheet we put down. The door can be lifted with king poles to create more shelter. (not supplied) I did find I had to add some magic eyelets to add an extra pegging point when the door was closed it was closer in so unhooked the peg and then hooked the magic eyelets onto another peg worked a treat. Definitely recommend to anyone it fits both my vango orchy 400 and my outwell Nevada xl tent. Very good for extra room. And was very sturdy in wind and rain for a canopy.
