The original Dog Hammock

The Concept

The Original Dog Hammock, is a simple design made up using four tubular steel poles that slot together to make a frame and a cover that slides neatly over the top to create a hanging bed or better known as a hammock.

The idea behind the hammock is to give your pet that extra bit of comfort and warmth that they may need whilst both at home and away.  Cold floors can be very uncomfortable for your pet, and this does enough to raise them off the floor.

What did we think?

Once down on the ground we could not keep our Border Collie off it, he loves it, not only it is comfortable it keeps him that much warmer as it is raised off the floor. He had no trouble getting on and off the hammock as it only sits about 6 inches from the ground. Due to the thick tubular steel legs, it is very sturdy and secure and made it easy for him to get comfy with minimum fuss.

The Dog Hammock is ideal for taking away with you when camping and caravanning as it gives your dog that extra bit of comfort, which means that they are happier and if they are happier, you are happier! They are lightweight and when folded up very compact and fit neatly into their own storage bag, so there is less chance of your misplacing any parts. Even when assembled the hammocks are lightweight and easy to manoeuvre with our young daughter having no problems moving it around.

Overall a reasonably priced, great quality product that, if you have the space and a dog that feels the cold, I would suggest would make a fantastic purchase. Why not treat your Dog for Christmas!
