The WildeWeave outdoor rugs are designed to create a more comfortable, stylish and relaxing space around your campervan, combining practicality with a beautifully understated look. Soft enough to enjoy barefoot, yet tough enough to withstand rough ground and weather elements.
Cleverly designed, these mats are L-shaped to to wrap around the side and back of a campervan. Most outdoor rugs are rectangular. These one aren't. They wrap around the side and back of your camper or motorhome, long edge running the length of the van, short edge folding around the rear.
Rolled out alongside your campervan, a WildeWeave rug creates a defined area for chairs, tables, cooking equipment and relaxing, while providing a more comfortable surface underfoot than grass, gravel or hardstanding.
They're equally suited to slow mornings with a cup of coffee, evenings sitting outside the van or simply giving muddy boots somewhere to land before climbing inside.
WildeWeave describes its rugs as being created for real-world outdoor use, whether that's wrapped around the side of a campervan, positioned beside a campfire or used to create a comfortable area wherever you happen to be staying.
The woven construction provides warmth and texture while being designed to cope with the realities of camping, travelling and spending time outdoors.
For campervan owners, this combination of practicality and appearance is probably their biggest attraction. Rather than simply looking like another piece of camping equipment, the rugs become part of the overall look of your pitch.
WildeWeave currently offers designs including the Quiet Temple and Desert Lantern, each bringing its own character, and should particularly appeal to campervan and motorhome owners who enjoy creating a more considered campsite set-up rather than simply putting out a couple of chairs beside the van.
Although campervans are an obvious fit, these rugs could work equally well outside motorhomes, caravans, tents and awnings.
They're also useful away from the campsite, whether that's picnics, festivals, beach trips or simply creating a comfortable outdoor seating area at home.
What Did we Think? Our Review
I’ve been really impressed with the WildeWeave outdoor rugs. The first thing you notice is just how well made they feel, they’re substantial, tough and clearly designed to cope with proper use rather than simply look good for a photograph.
The material feels durable enough to handle regular camping trips, muddy footwear, chairs and all the usual wear and tear that comes with life around a campervan. Despite that toughness, they still look fantastic and add a really smart finishing touch to a pitch.
What I particularly like is that they don’t have the usual appearance of a traditional camping mat. The woven designs give them much more character and help make the area outside the van feel like a genuine extension of your living space.
They’re practical, hard-wearing and stylish, which is exactly what you want from something that is going to spend its life travelling around in a campervan.
When not in use, it rolls up neatly and comes with a carry bag which fits easily in a boot or stored under a bed.
For me, WildeWeave have managed to combine great looks with genuinely useful campsite practicality, and I can see one of these becoming a permanent part of my camping set-up.
