Satgear Portable Satellite kit

This is a top quality complete satellite dish, 12v/240v Free to Air satellite receiver and tripod kit to receive satellite channels on your TV. Ideal for caravanning and camping trips.

This kit will work throughout the UK and most of Europe to get UK TV from the Astra 2 satellites (for UK Free to Air channels) and foreign language channels from many other satellites.

The dish is a very high quality Hirschmann dish with a new type of elevation slide mounting for very easy setup and satellite alignment. It also has a folding arm for easy stowage and transportation.

The kit includes:

  • Hirschmann/Triax 65cm steel satellite dish with easy-align bracket
  • Comag SL30/12 satellite receiver with 12v or 240v power options
  • Single 0.3dB LNB, High Definition ready
  • Satfinder meter with 1.5m connecting cable
  • 10m high quality white satellite coax cable with sealed connectors
  • Strong aluminium tripod with pegs for ground fixing if required
  • Satgear Classic compass
  • Full Satgear satellite alignment instructions

The dish is already built which is one of the reasons why it's so portable. There are 7 main reasons which give the kit it's portable characteristics:

  • The arm simply folds up and down into position. It comes like this in the box.
  • The LNB just clips into place.
  • The angle is adjusted on a smooth sliding mechanism, again, already built on the back of the dish. This is unique!
  • It mounts onto a very sturdy folding tripod.
  • Comes ready with 10 meters of satellite cable.
  • Lightweight
  • Extends to almost 2 meters for extra height when required.
  • The tripod is collapsible and very solid when erected -in fact it's virtually immovable. It comes fully built ready to go.

The receiver is the excellent Comag SL30/12. This can be powered from a 12v car or caravan lighter-type socket, or from 240v mains power. It will allow you to receive many hundreds of Free to Air digital satellite channels.

You won't find a better kit than this to get you setup quickly and easily on your caravanning weekends away. Of course, you'll need to take along your TV!

We have written and supplied a complete set of instructions for dish alignment and getting a great signal. Note, this kit is also ideal for reception in most parts of Europe.

Where can I get them from?
