Into the Trees Family Festival 2019
Now in it's fourth year, Into The Trees is a family event which takes place from 13th to 15th September in Sussex. The family focused festival is a fascinating journey which takes you into the amazing world of trees, woods and forests and will open your eyes to the ways in which we can play, work, learn and explore amongst their leaves, branches and trunks.
Taking place in the heart of one of the south of England's most amazing landscapes, Into The Trees offers the rare chance to explore and enjoy protected ancient woodland in the Ashdown Forest and brings experts from the world of wood to demonstrate and inspire guests of all ages.
It promises to be a weekend of discovery and relaxation, exploring the magical protected woodland of Pippingford Park with family and friends. Come for just the day on Saturday or Sunday or camp all weekend in this unique designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The perfect opportunity for adults to relax enjoying delicious local food and drink while kids run free.
There are a
huge number of activities for kids and adults - see their website for full details. Activities include canoes and paddle boards, rope swings, mountain boarding, bushcraft and tree climbing surround hands-on demonstrations from wildlife experts and skilled Sussex craftspeople.
For campers in the evening the food vendors and bar will open, serving a wonderful range of locally sourced meals and selection of craft beers, wines and cocktails. There will be a big communal campfire and an hour or so of scheduled entertainment, followed by open storytelling or performance sessions
