 Had a great weekend despite Storm Malik.   To keep my backpacking tent dry for the wild pitch I used my North Face Mountain 25 tent on Friday night - hardly moved during the storm. ....   ....more

 Last year I took a risk and got a very cheap ferry deal, Dublin to France. Our aim was to do a section hike of the GR34 in Brittany from Pontorson to St Malo. This tied in well as a continuation of ou....   ....more

 I mentioned on my trip report I had picked up a campingaz globetrotter for 5 euros in a French flea market. It came with a canister (empty), the pots, the pot handle and the original strap. ....   ....more
