 Hi,
I now they've been doing lots of work around the parking etc at Folkstone. The last time we were there (Oct and without van on back), it looked rather chaotic. I assume it's settled....  ....more

We returned from Cherbourg to Portsmouth on Friday, and I couldn't believe that on our ferry there was only a single caravan - never seen that before at this time of year.

Losing our storage so looking for somewhere new. Store and stay could be nice or just pure storage, North of Le Mans/Normandy area is most preferable, even up toward Calias. Found some on the internet.... ....more

Probably been covered a hundred times but about to camp in Spain then down Portugal. Have a UK mobile mains adapter with the 3 pins in blue plug, which connects to the hookup point at the campsite…...... ....more

Just had lunch in a sizeable restaurant in La Fontaine de Vaucluse near to L’Isle sur les Sorgue in Provence and was shocked to find that it was cash only - although I noticed no signs to that effect .... ....more

A warning to those that smoke that France are introducing a smoking ban from 1 July 2025 in areas that children frequent (including beaches), failure to comply resulting in a pretty decent fine:
