Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows how I can dispose of my old trailer tent. I have tried for the last two years to give it away and only end up with time wasters. I’ve just been quoted £550 to have it removed which is absolutely disgusting. I’ve tried googling it but still nothing coming up. Most scrapyards aren’t interested as it’s mainly fibreglass

Have you tried the Free Ads on UKCS: https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/forsale/

People occasionally offer 'free' items to dispose of them. They often have a use to others for spares, conversion, or even restoration.

As a road going trailer, it obviously needs to be roadworthy, or easily made roadworthy, to have the highest appeal so it can be moved easily.

Good luck.

I hope you can sell it. Someone here ( I think) was trying to sell something rather than it going to landfill, no joy but it got snapped up on their Freecycle. That might be worth trying.
