My 2001 has worn hinge mounts. Just carried out a good repair using triangular stainless steal plates on the inside and outside of trailer body.Had to make a compression tool to remove the gas strut before i could carry out the repair using two lengths of 8mm studding and two pieces of wood to compress the strut. Leave the bed in its stowed position, support the bed and remove the bolt. Ease the bed back enough to gain access to the hole where the bolt comes through trailer body. There is a captive nut on the inside of the trailer side that you will have to remove. Once you have got that out you can offer up the two plates and put your bolt through the middle making sure the bolt looks straight and parallel. I used a self tapping screw to hold the plate with screws long enough to go right through so the othere plate was level. Once your happy with the position, drill right through and secure with 5mm screws and lock nuts. I did it on my own but some help is always handy. Once the plates are mounted you will have to trim the edge to shape. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU USE STAINLES STEAL PLATES YOU CANNOT CUT OR DRILL HOLES IN THEM WITHOUT SPECIAL TOOLS. I used an angle grinder to trim my plates to shape. This repair was for the front mounts.
