We have decided to take the step and go from a regular tent to a trailer tent.
Yesterday at Camperlands we though we had decided on a Sunncamp, however today we have seen the Cabanon Saturn and we love it. It has the extension and the annexe and the kitchen and we were very impressed with it, plus it seems like a great price.
We are just looking now for anybody that has a Cabanon to let us know the pro's and con's of this make of tent before we call up and place our deposit.
Any help would be welcomed.
We sold ours a year ago (Bought a Van). The only annoyance was the legs kept sliding back up but we got around this by fitting wind down steadies.
I assume you mean the 1.5m extension with the little kitchen annex. This can only be used if you have the main living area up, it can't be used on it's own.
The kitchen unit is a 2 man/women lift, especially if you pack it like my OH did
You can leave the annex and main area zipped to the main unit and fold it back over the main unit which will save a lot of time when putting it up.
Make sure all the poles are there and they are straight, although spare parts are available, they usually have to be ordered with a 6-8 week delay.
Apart from that we enjoyed all our trips in it - we only changed to a van so we could camp all year round.
hi there we have a cabanon sciroco & all i can say is the cabanons are one of the best campers you can buy,we done the same as you looking at the like of camperlands & cheshire leisure, asking for demonstration, but we ended up buying a 10month old cabanon that had been used for 1 week, its a great bit of kit. also some more details for you.

Thanks for that.
Vonfluff and I have eally fallen for this tent. It's actually from Cheshire Leisure and it's on a Conway trailer but the frame work and canvas are Cabanon. So most of it is brand new.
We have seen it up so we know it's all there and it was so windy today that we know it will stand up to a fair bit of weather.
The guy at the show ground was so helpful, he said he will give us a full demo if we buy it.
So we are paying our deposit tomorrow!
So excited! Just need to get a towbar on the car now and adjust this years ferry to take the tt too!!
Thanks for all your advice, would still like to hear from anybody that has anything to let us know about,
