Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
In ours we have a support pole in each corner of the main tent - 2 short ones in the corner of the bed and 2 long for the floor area.
The awning has a clip on support pole at the apex of the front frame that comes down inside the awning window.
I can add a photo of the instructions if of use..
Thanks Miaren. Nice to finally find a rare owner of the same brilliant tent.
I found a pdf copy online and came to the same conclusion that I was missing the 2 poles for the living area. We don't have the third awning pole but don't think we're missing anything. Does your awning attach with the C/U clips? The pictures suggest hooks but I can't work out how that would work.
I like the idea of the shorter bedroom supports. One of the corners always seems to droop.
Dont suppose you have the original cushions you could photo & measure for me? We had nothing so have had to source airbeds for inside. I'd rather have the foam so I can make the sofas up.
Hi Madgerald. I have attached a photo of the shorter poles we have. You'll also notice the shallow frame I made that lifts the foam mattresses up away from the fibreglass floor. We suffered with a fair amount of condensation under the foam in the mornings, and this cured it instantly. Made from 20mm plastic tubing and clean pallet wood.
Sizes of foam as follows:
2no. 120cm x 116cm x 7.5cm
4no. 42cm x 116cm x 7.5cm
Our Awning is zipped to the main tent, and held by 3no. Short poles (13) with small upright pins that locate in the eyelets on the outer edge of the canopy. These join at the + shaped junctions (6, 4 & 6) and the roof is then tensioned with the 3 adjustable roof poles (2). No U or C clips are needed. The short pole is on the frame at the bottom of the picture.
Hope this helps...
