Morning everyone. We love our big Khyam tent for holidays but I've just seen and couldn't resist a Comanche Montana second hand. Looks in very good condition and hoping to use it for more shorter trips and weekends away.
Are there many Comanche Montana owners on here and does anyone have any advice for us please

We had a Karsten pod and awnings and absolutely loved it, but our Cabanon Malawi TT is a much quicker and easier pitch (when we don't use the awning). The main timesaver is having the bed already set up, complete with bedding. There's also the benefit of having more storage space but not having to accommodate a separate trailer on the pitch.
I still love tents but this TT takes some beating. The only downside is that it takes up most of the garage space when not in use.

Let us know how you get on with your new TT?
Thanks, our main concern was that we don't have a garage! That said, my husband is able to store it in their secure car park at work so I'll be on the look out for a cover for it. The points you mention are what attracted me, the speed of set up - apart from the awning. We do have a shelter which we'd possibly take to use if we didn't want to out the shelter up.
I'm just excited for more weekends away!

We had one some years ago and took it on a 6 week tour of the Netherlands. We loved it. The awning was a bit of a pain to put up because of the height in the centre but once up was a good size. The only issue we found was that there is little storage space inside when folded. Some newer ones had slatted beds with some storage below it but ours didn't so we could only get the bedding and a couple of chairs in ours.
Hi TraceyD,
Congratulations on your new purchase! Lucky you! When looking for a trailer tent I had my eye out for a pre-owned Montana at an affordable (for me!) price as well as a Raclet Solena. The Solena appeared first so I bought that, but I am quite envious of your acquisition! I think the Montanas are more spacious than the Solena?
Wishing you many happy outings in your new unit.

Thank you. For me it was one of those things that popped up as an ad on Facebook and I thought ooh I like that! Think it's 2019 so has the latted beds with storage under and comes with awning. Was asking £1000 and I offered £900. Picking it up on our way home from Blackpool tomorrow. Just planning our first trip now!

TraceyD Oooh, pick-up day for your Montana today! A good price for a 2019 unit? I hope everything is present and correct, are you going to post some photos for us, when you get it home? Good luck for the journey home.
Hope you enjoy lots of outings in your new-to-you trailer tent.

Picked it up this morning and was a nice drive home. Opened it up and all looked pretty good, no damp smells at all. Its gone straight to my husbands work until the weekend when we'll move it to the storage facility. Hoping to do a weekend somewhere local in June to try it out so will post some pics then.
Excited to try it out!
