Sorry the TT newbie again!
While searching on here the topic of not so comfortable beds came up but most of the posts were quite old. Our Comanche Montana doesn't have the new latter bed design just the boards so thinking might be a bit hard. Wondered about putting a SIM on top of the foam mattress. If we left the SIM open or on 'deflate' would we be able to leave in when we fold it down do you think? Or is a deep memory foam mattress topper better?

We used to use airbeds when we had a tt with thin mattresses. We never needed them in the Comanche though and ours had the solid bed boards. They do need deflating when folding the beds.

We used to use a blow up matress under the foam, partially inflated. We then just pulled the plug and let it deflate to pack away.

Small double, 2 inches deep. We'll try them out in a couple of weeks and decide whether we leave them in or not.
