So our first camping trip was a trial to see how it works, we are actually off for 10 days next week, but we took three nights away first.
Its also the first use of an air tent, which is all new to us.
We had an electric pump, which we will need some practice with to ensure it doesn't leak, we only pumped it to 8 psi which seemed more than enough and although i am sure it wasn't much faster its certainly a LOT EASIER!
Putting the trailer into the tent we had already worked out in the drive and had put some well placed duck tape to alight it.
Getting the bed flat takes some time, being hinged in the middle i think there is a knack to it and to set up the trailer first then open the top and level up.
Once up its fantastic, everyone on the site came to look at it! There is plenty of room we love the storage being out of site with Cycles etc and effectively a toilet tent built in, all good, the bed gives a better night sleep than any tent combination we have ever used and bigger than the last two Freedom Caravans we have owned.
Love the look, it is a vey modern tent!
I can see that we would be able to pack the trailer inside the tent if it rained and then put the tent on top.
If you turned up when it was raining you might need to put a cover inside the tent before you put it in, we will trial.
I read somewhere 7.5 psi is correct pressure I also use an electric pump as it is easier.
I carry the tent on top of the trailer so if it is wet I can pack or unpack my kit in the tent so everything stays dry all I have to dry out at home is the tent itself obviously this is just what works best for me everyone has their own way of doing things glad you like the campmaster I am away in Derbyshire for a week in a couple of weeks time.
Graham, the PSI sounds about right, the manual that comes with it says 10PSI but i don't want to overstress it.
We too would put the tent on the top, but i wont fit in the garage like that unless i can hang the cycles from somewhere else!!! If we kept all the camping equipment in the trailer we could get a smaller car!
Just been away for 9 days to the forest of dean, we camped under a tree and now need to give it a good clean. Loved it
