Hi, just purchased a pennine pathfinder with no awning poles. Does anyone know what size the awning is and what poles might fit. I've been on pennine site and the poles are a bit pricey.so I thought I'd try to source some before giving in to pennine. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks I've tried those, the pennine poles seem to be as rare as hens teeth that's the reason I was asking if any other makes will fit, or any universal kits available.

Sorry you haven’t had any luck! Have you tried asking for people who are scrapping the same model? I expect you have. Hope you find some.

We had to buy a new cabin canvas and awning for our Pathfinder, but the only one Pennine Leisure had at the time was one from a Conway Cruiser,we think. We use the original poles. Phone Pennine Leisure and ask them which poles are compatible. That would give you a wider scope to search.

Pennine use Campion poles, the same as used on Isabella, Ventura and Bradcot caravan awnings. You could buy a used awning of a similar size, keep the poles and possibly sell the canvas, or else buy one with a damaged canvas and just use the poles.

You can go for steel poles, lightweight CarbonX or IXL fibreglass.

If opting for IXL (grey) or Isabella CarbonX (black), you could even change the clamps to   Isafix (check pole diameters as they come in different sizes).

Lidds0
I've seen all of those poles but unsure if they would fit a pathfinder awning, if your sure they will fit, that gives me a much better chance of finding a set.
Thankyou
Andy

Yes, if you go for a set from similar awning size, they'll fit. Standard 250 deep G14-16 frame (so frame on any 250 deep awning between G14-G16).

I'm not sure what size it is, I'm not familiar with how they size them (I'm a bit of a novice) I've measured the roof section and it's about 2.3 metres

We have a Compass Omega 432 2 berth caravan (not a large van) with Isabella awning with carbon fibre poles, and a 2006 pathfinder.

I picked up the wrong bag of poles (pathfinder) when we took the caravan away, but they fitted the caravan awning with no problem, they are the same. The bags are identical!

The only difference is that there are 5 poles to support the pathfinder cabin roof, and 5 legs. Our awning has 3 poles for the roof and 3 legs.

You will need the full set of poles for the pathfinder because of the size of canvas needing support. Try looking for Isabella poles.

google pennine pathfinder awning instructions, it will give you sites with diagrams of poles.

Blueskyholdings have a good set of diagrams. You should be able to work it out from there.
