Hi could I get some information please I have just bought my first little dandy dart please can someone tell me when I book on a camping sight would I class the dandy as a folding caravan or a trailer tent and can I use where the camp says tents thank you for any help I’m new to all this so any information would really be apt
You should be able to call it a caravan, trailer tent or folding camper whichever will work best for you on the vast majority of sites.
You should be able to use it alongside tents but individual sites may vary on this. Perhaps best to ask site for info.
Many sites have a space for tents without electric but you may wish to have it. Caravan pitches tend to have electric so quite a few tents use them now.
correctly speaking your dandy is a folding camper, it definately isnt clasified as a caravan! as for pitching it, well that all depends, you can use a hard standing pitch, the same as a caravan one, or you use a grass pitch same as a trailer tent or tent and/of a caravan would. so basically it all boils down to what you want and the price of the pitch involved.
