Hi all.. Heading to France with the trailer tent this summer (first time with it in a campsite)... Just wondering what is the connection?.. 3pin or 2 pin?.. If do I will buy a converter... Thanks in advance
Hi , you will probably find the smaller authentic French sites may still use the two pin plug , most will be the modern three pin. Get an adaptor just in case , they're only a few quid
I was on a site in France when all the 3-pin sockets on a pillar were hooked up, leaving 2-pin ones available. Good job I carry a 2-pin adaptor in my van and was able to hook up without any issue.

Last time I camped with EHU in France (probably 4 plus years ago), pretty sure bollard (you should be so lucky - rickety post!!!) had both UK style 16A blue sockets and Shucko (domestic French) 2 pin sockets. Of course what you were able to use depended on what others hadn't commandeered first.
The Shucko 2 pin plugs may look weedy, but are rated at 16A!!!! And remember most French EHUs are only 6A or 10A output anyway!
I don’t know what Sue Pollard has to do with anything.
