This is our first folding camper so not had any experience with level ramps or chocks, we do not have a motor mover so will have to push or pull camper onto ramps, my question is would the stepped ramps be best or the other type.
How long is a piece of string?
Both do the job. The stepped ramps do give you some levels to park on but what about when it's in between steps that is level.
The ramp type do give you a greater range of heights and the chocks hold it securely in place.

We have both chocks for the MH, and find the single slope ones easier than the stepped ones, and that’s with the MH being driven. We have to rev a fair bit to go up to the next level on the stepped ramp, to get off the lower cup shape: that might take more effort for you though you’ll be manoeuvring something much lighter.
Also, with the single slope one, you can gradually go up, allowing for fine adjustment. With the stepped ramp, one level can be a bit too low & the next level a bit too high. (Milenco Quattro: 4 levels).
Finally, the simple ramp is much lighter & less bulky. We only take the stepped one to sites where we know the pitches slope noticeably or we’re on bumpy grass.
Thank you that is so helpful, the other thing I forgot to ask is pegs as we were grass pitch before we just used ordinary pegs but now we might use hard standing pitch and have read lots about pegs but peoples opinions differ so much so I am not sure if screw pegs, delta pegs etc which would be best ?
just get enough rock pegs for your awning, you will need to count how many you need, and a decent weight hammer, the rock pegs will deal with just about everything you would throw them at
