Isn't this something that makes your blood boil when it happens to you!! You sort of feel cheated and as if your being dragged into someone's seedy scam.

Happened to us recently when we were selling our Conway cruiser (see thread E Bay naughty person approx 9th June)...OH was livid. Reported it to ebay after advice from folk on this forum and they got the perpetrator to remove his advert (quite quickly as it happens). We also put a warning on our ad saying there was someone using our pics and gave the name of the seller.

 E bay's reply back was strange... and said there was not enough similarity between the pics.......we're incredulous that the other seller has the same house, caravan and garden as us!!!...perhaps a parallel world!!

Good to have the ear and help of others though.

thanx everyone, both listings did get removed, they did'nt just steal my pic's one of them actually used pic's from someone else too!!

apparently when they do stuff like this they loose there listing fee's too!!

this happened to us a year or so ago when we were selling our large vango tent. We had an email from another ebay member alerting us that some one was using our photos or the auction we had that finished the week before. The person who 'lifted' it had the cheek to airbrush my husband out!!! before they used it though!

OH was most put out and emailed them asking where the handsome hunk (ha!) in the original picture was?

They emailed back and said he had walked around the other side of the tent!
