Have you looked at the Combi Camps? We have a Venezia and you can zip the front panel of the awning completely out. http://www.combi-camp.co.uk/ They are so easy to put up, I can do ours single handedly in 2 minutes without the awing and then another 10 minutes for the awning.
On my old Combi Camp you can use either an awning or a canopy (although I haven't got a canopy). You can leave out the front panels, and you could stick a canopy on the front as well to give a really big area under cover. Could soon rig up a canopy with a basha and a couple of old tent poles and guys.
