We screwed the pop studs onto the underside of the bed board until we found out that the hanging elastic straps went round the bed board and popped onto the top of it onto the pop studs taht were already there.
Would one of those new 'pop-up' festival tents (as marketed as Gelert) do the job? It could also be used in the awning or even outside in really nice weather.
My daughter is thinking of getting one. Has anyone had the same idea or experience?
We are looking at one of these instead of the UBT, mainly so that the kids can use it in the garden between camping trips.
------------- Carpe Diem
Started in Tents, then trailer Tent and now Caravan.
Just came up with, I could add 4 pieces of string or elastic to the bed frame then attach bed pods to these :) seems more secure to me than just pushing the clips ontot he wood, think I will get some velcro too, seems a clever idea to me, save the sagging :)
We used ours for the first time this weekend and just attached the clips around the bed board - no sagging and they stayed put with my grandson crawling in and out consantly - he thought it was great fun to sit in there and pretend he was lost!!!
