I think your biggest shock could be having to line up perfectly on the CC Rally. With CCC rallies you generally go where you like in the field.

Lots of us rally and just have a shower when we get home. When I was the age of your baby we were washed/bathed in the kitchen sink and as we got older we progressed to a tin bath in front of the fire.
Foaming wipes are great for times when you are not on EHU.

If you are only using low wattage stuff then you can always run your EHU from an inverter, running either from your car or leisure battery.
I did this on my recent trip and it worked just fine for charging torch/lantern batteries and running a portable DVD player. You just need to remember to switch it off when you are done for the night, although I reckon we still would have got the car started in the morning and I did have a decent set of jump leads with me, but I didn't take the risk.

An inverter with a remote switch would be nice though, I can see a project coming on
