Seeing as you still think pigeon post is a bit too technical, I am surprised. Anyway,we have managed to keep the posts made in your absence down in the gutter, where we know you will find them, and we have a new,"lets be helpful vibe going on",you'll love it. Btw,2 T's in mattress!

Just because I am in the south of France does not mean I cannot still be pompous. Why the apostrophe after T? It ruins a clever point. But good to see you were trying.
I did check that the use of an apostrophe is correct when pluralising single letters or digits, did you really think it was a clever point? Gosh, thanks! Hows the trip going, hope you are enjoying youself,Ian.

Letter in the paper today... It is tattoo season in the north-west. My favourite spotted thus far was emblazoned on the back of a teenage girl, shoulder to shoulder, in 2ins lettering: "NO REGRET's".

My slats are chopped too, much easier, though the rest are glued in place.
We actually got our slats from IKEA and then trimmed them around wheel arch, it reduced, but did not get rid of, the condensation. Some of the problem with the kitchen we found, was the stowage of items forward on the mattress. These tended to prevent easy closing.
No,still have the condensation problem myself, not as bad though. Saving up for a folding camper now,got 37p so far, once I've sold the Camplet,I'll have twice that.
Miserly, just reading the thread of this and noticed that you don't put the roof pole up before the wardrobe pole. Have watched the Royal video and they do the reverse. Would you recommend the wardrobe pole first? We've also found that when messing about with the front bit of the awning the roof pole becomes loose and I am worried that the sharp points of the pole near the wardrobe bit will go through the canvas. Are there any tips you can give me to stop this happening? BTW we put folded the trailer up so much more easily after all your help with the joining pole advice. Sorry not very technical but really appreciate any help, have learned so much from reading the forum.
Firstly,I always put the wardrobe bar in before pegging,it lines everything up.After pegging, the roof pole can go in,but if you the use guy ropes or attach a sun canopy, the extra tension can loosen the pole so it may need adjusting. The flat bar on the bed end of the roof pole goes at the top,and the hooks sort of wrap onto the bedroom hoops,so this may be you problem? Of course, mine isn't a royal,so if you need a definate answer, there are a few owners on here and on our Facebook group who can help. Ian
i know this is not exactly on "topic" but i have found 2 little canvas pockets (with ties) in my pole bag, i'm sure these are supposed to cover something but i'm not sure what! i've got them covering the spikes on my kitchen awning poles at the mo is that correct?
thanx brumski.
------------- don't argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience!!
They are probably the "socks" that cover the ends of the main awning hoop after removing the key pole. I dont have these and now I have a rust mark on the canvas after a wet pack up. Although I got the unit up to dry within an hour of getting home, there was enough time for a tiny bit of rust to form and stain the roof.
I store mine in the trailer at the back,on the left. There is a hollow under the mattress. I haven't had problems with the key pole rusting, but just at the place it slots into, the powder coating must have worn away over the years.
