When my lad goes in his pup tent he often grabs one of the solar powered lamps from outside to take in with him if his torch battery has gone.

The only problem is he forgets to bring it back out in the morning to recharge.

We use clip-on light fittings with low wattage bulbs in our frame tent.  Lights are available from poundland for (yes you guessed it) £1.00 each.  They come with a light fitting and plug already atttached - bargain.  Hope this helps

 I wouldn't have thought that toxic glo sticks were allowed to be sold! The ones I use are certainly not toxic - I wouldn't risk my kids health. Agree with the point about staining though. We've had one accident and stained a towel (ashamed to say it was me that snapped the stick tho' not the kids!!)

Toxic food is'nt alowed but it hasn't stopped sudan 1 getting into a lot of products that we eat.
