In some people's eyes, quite possibly... but I wouldn't let that bother you.
The 6 EHU pitches at Red Bank Farm all have views looking out to Morecambe Bay, so they usually pitch facing the view. The rest of the field is surrounded by hedge, so everyone else faces the field.
Elsewhere, I've seen folk pitch their tents facing the perimeter hedge. As there was no physical advantage (rectangular tents on rectangular pitches) and there were no views, other than the hedge itself, I can only presume it was a deliberate attempt to gain a little privacy, when sat outside the front of their tent, cooking, eating, and generally chilling out.

Make sure you can "escape" as well as anyone else, in case of fire/emergency, so plenty of room to get around your unit without tripping in the dark etc, and go for it.

90% of campers won't judge you, 5% will never see you again (so it doesn't matter), and 7% failed their maths GCSE's, so their opinion isn't worthy of consideration anyway!

Enjoy!

Well ...

Are you one of the 7%, Mucker ... ?

By my reckoning: 90 + 5 + 7 = 102 ...

And, I'd have thought that, probably, 98% (at least) will never see you again!

Ah, so you spotted my little effort of whim, mirth, and deliberate irony then, Kelper. T
That's excellent, as it means I don't have to explain... which is never a good thing, when it comes to the art of humour, and the skill required to deliver it well, even in the written form!

"By my reckoning: 90 + 5 + 7 = 102"

False logic my friend! These are not %'s of the same thing.

And, even if they were the of the same thing they could justifiably add up to 102% if the figures had been 'rounded up' to the nearest whole %.

But I guess you really knew that!

Mucker ...

Touchee ...

June ...

They were percentages of the same thing: 'campers' ...
