Originally we tried quilts but then bought sleeping bags which as we leave in the camper during the season we find this suits us best ,just make sure you don`t buy cheap bags as these will not keep you warm enough .
We've tried most of the above but the latest crave is " fleece liners (Lidl specials) under King sized duvet" - slept 12 hours solid last week - right through the rain and came out in sunshine!
------------- I think I've got a bite .........(Carp of course!)
We use Duvets for us and the kids use sleeping bags, and we have a fleece blanket for an additional layer on the cold nights. We find this is good enough for us in the TT.
D'ya know what? I've been watching this thread and only Sir Anthony has given the right answer!
Now, I don't mean that we should all have his wife, (much prefer Sir Anthony speaking personally, er hum), in bed with us, (even though she's probably a lovely woman), BUT most people seem to have answered what the actually want ON the bed-lol! Have you ever tried to squeeze a blooming duvet into your bed? Well, it's not easy let me tell you-lol!
But while we're on the subject of what we would like in bed that's simple - hubby and my pc so I don't have to lose any time on uksc............ Sorry to disappoint those of you expecting for a rude answer?
