Hi Woody,

Our P Pullman is very easy to set up and that includes unhitching and moving into place. It is light enough to move with little effort compared to the twin axle cara's we previously had.

Levelling is also simple as it has wind down steadies which I operate with a rechargeable drill and socket.

The trailer cover really needs two to roll it up neatly and then pack into its pocket before the lid halves are swung over. Single handed it is fiddly.

Each half of the lid houses the sprung interior mattresses and beds - made up and ready to sleep in, but despite the weight they can be lifted over with one hand as they are fitted with gas struts and the weight of the canvas and frame also helps counterbalance.

Having had 2 years experience we can have it erected and working in 20 minutes which is less than the time it took with a caravan and a lot less than the tents. Erecting the awning takes the same time as with a cara but we dont often use it as we have more space.

Another advantage over tents is the caravan type base ensures you are off the mud and the canvas is well supported. It has twice the floor area of the same length caravan as the bedrooms overhang each end.

Our only criticism is the wardrobe is a waste of weight, space and effort to lift into place, Pennine please note. I took it out and it now sits in a corner of the garage. Having removed it we can now access the folded trailer through the door, to load in luggage, boxes, water carier and other kit.

Finally, we do not wish to sell it. Sorry. It gives us the freedom to choose the weather and go where we please at a moments notice, to travel in comfort and sleep in our own beds. Hotels and cottages have to be booked in advance, are costly and no where near as relaxing or versatile.
