hi farmer-palmer i would go for the raclet solena fantastic camper very quick to erect loads of underbed storage, very light to move, & the roofrack takes loads of camping gear, we to looked at the comanchie campers, but the solena is quality,we only sold our because our daughter was fedup sleeping on the lid & wanted her own bed.
Have you looked at the Cabanon Venus? We had a look at the Venus and the Solena at the Show in London earlier this month and there is no contest. The Venus is absolute class - with locker storage and drawers in the sleeping compartment with seating, it is also dead easy to erect and very lightweight. The finish is superb. Eventhough we have only just bought a new tent, we are definitely asking Father Christmas for a Venus for 2007!!!
See here for an idea on what they are like - there are lots of suppliers round the country.
