The Dandy used to be fitted with a brilliant little caravan convector heater under the floor.... no electricity needed.  It was banned by the EU because if you were in a snowdrift and the ventilation was blocked underneath ie boxed in on all sides for snow it would be dangerous!

Now they are blown heating that requires electricity... GREAT not.

Meanwhile Old Dandys with heaters are prized... broken down heaters are recycled for spare parts..... Happy to report so far no accidents in a snow drift.
