Well it had camping and caravan sign up, to which I said "were in that"
To which he replied "we're not" so why have a camping and caravan sign up!
I can't mention a name as I've heard you get banned.
But if your on the m26 heading towards gatwick, it's directly on your left first turning off of m26.
I don't want to ruin anyone's business but I would avoid.
Obviously he can't monitor the scum bags that come on the site, but site as hell can sort out not arguing with each other and the hot water in your tiny shower block.
Oh and I forgot to mention I caught kids stealing from the shop, and they wasn't bothered. Im just not sure they're cut out to run a campsite.

That's it .... we've joined the migration ... just bought a Sterckeman Alize Concept 480 in Germany ....
So the Pullman will be up for sale very soon.
Had some great years with it .... but we've accrued too much extra gear and set up/pack down was taking too long ... so ... to a van.
Oops! Me too! Happy years with the pathfinder but at our age we've gone for convenience over space and to be honest we're finding it hard work as the years go by. So.....just ordered a new Eriba as it will be ok for the two of us. We've had to change the details on our ferry crossing which is already booked for May next year but now looking forward to a new experience travelling thru France and Europe.
Don't worry about life.....you won't get out of it alive!
We too are moving on, sadly to say, we loved our folding camper and miss seeing it on our driveway, but it was getting hard work in our old age and we had to pack up and flee in very high winds last year, worried it would tip over during the night, so we did a moonlight flit and cut short our holiday.
We use to watch the caravanners come in, pitch up and sit outside with a drink in hand, within minutes, while we were still sorting ourselves out.
We have now moved over to the 'darker side' as they call it, having bought ourselves a caravan.
We are starting afresh and are complete newbies to it all, with lots to learn.
We will be keeping an eye on the Folding Camper and Trailer Tent section as we have owned both and will help anyone if we can. We are not leaving, but merely 'sliding' across to the Caravan section.
A big 'Thank You' to all FC and TT members who have helped us on here in the past.
Wow just seen this. It is a shame but its progression with ease.
But at least we can all say we owned a fc and it was great.
Theres still things i miss with the fc.

Sad to see our lovely 'Baby' FC go, wish we could have kept the FC along with the caravan, but the FC probably wouldn't get used again, just sat as an ornament on the front garden for us to look at and admire and open up once in a blue moon.
Looking forward to starting our new hobby once these high winds stop.
You will love it but also miss the feel of camping.
But i can only say that at the moment as ive not had mine long, and the time of year etc nakes you sit inside.
Roll on summer :)

I thought that would be the case with us. But its not. We spend most of our time sitting outside our caravan or in the awning and only go in to sleep. If the weather is really bad we sit in the van but hardly ever put the tv on. I think camping is a mindset regardless of the mode.
To have an inside loo will be a camping luxury, we didn't have a loo with the FC, we had a pop up toilet tent outside, which fitted neatly into a corner at the back of the camper.
Have you eve tried folding a 'pop up' toilet tent back up again ? it would make a great party game.
One day you would amaze yourself by doing it the first attempt and wonder how you managed it so soon, another day it would take many tries. 20 minutes once, as we couldn't stop laughing.
We won't miss the mud, wet grass, slugs, worm and bugs that also shared our pop up for certain. ;) :)
