Hi

Got conway countryman 240v power sockets work but can't get 12v elecs to work help!  Fridge won't work on any setting - new to this what are we doing wrong???

Have you got a battery in or not?

Fridges are dead slow so you may be panicking too soon. 12volt will only operate the fridge when you are actually towing. On electric you must make sure everything else on the fridge is turned off and turn the thermostat up. After hours! you should notice the ice tray getting cold and the external vent getting hot. There is no noise and it is quite a long time before it appears to work, On gas you need to turn the switches off for twelve volt and mains. Lay in the most uncomfortable position possible and push the gas knob in and click the piezo. You should have a little viewing window at ground level to see the flame, you need to continue to hold the knob in for a minute or so before letting go.

How old is your unit? Do you have a leisure battery attached? Is the electric system factory fitted?

Thanks for that - you were right we were panicing too soon - fridge now apears to be working - hooray!!!

12v light still not working so I think I will just plug on into the mains.
