Divide the watts you are using by the volts you are using will give you the amps

Apparently most of the EHU units you buy will trip at 10amps anyway, so err on the side of caution. Only one heating appliance (kettle, microwave, hairdrier, electric hob etc etc) at a time. Some items like microwaves have a start-up surge as well, so watch out for that too.
