 has anyone replaced the carpet on a conway crusader . mine is a 2001 and the previous owner must have had a dog .  (not that i dont like dogs i have two one only 8wks old) but this must have been a smelly one and i cant get rid of the smell.if any one has is it easy or hard to do many thanks.

Hi,I had some carpet left over from home,I put underfelt down first and stapled it,I laid the carpet on top of it,cut the first and easy bit first and then stapled that peice so it would not move,then pushed the carpet into the corner`s and then with a sharp stanley knife  cut it to fit,stapling as i went.Ended up with a first class job,then found the unit doors were catching on carpet as the underlay was to thick.Took doors of took them to work cut 4 mm of bottom resealed them and now looks like a new unit inside.Moral is check thickness of underlay first.

i was thinking of fitting a laminate floor in mine ,but a bit worried about all the corners!!

Why do they put carpets in campers ? We have just bought a lovely second hand Crusader, and I think I will replace the carpet with some good quality cushion flooring, with 2 kids and a husband things are always being spilt

Think you might me better off with cushion flooring/lino as the laminate may be a bit heavy
