Bit of a strange question really, but can the concorde be upgraded to a royal if you purchase the extension?  Reason I ask is that there are zips on either side and on top of the canvas.  I know the sun canopy zips onto the top and the zips on the side would be for the side panels, but could you attach the extension to the zips, hence making it the royal rather than the concorde, or is the extension fitted by other means?

The reason I ask is because the specs are identical between the two with the only difference being that there is an option to have the extension with the royal, which is not available for the concorde.  I just thinking ahead really as my kids are 3 and 7 and space is ok at the minute, but when they get older it would be much better to have extra room.

Any info would be grately appreciated before I phone Camperlands and more than likely make a fool of myself asking the question.  Also, if the extension can't be attached to the concorde, it would give us the time to save up for the royal.

Hi there

No, they are a slightly different shape - the Royal goes to a point at the middle front and the Concorde is flat - you are right about the zips - they are for sun canopy and side panels - which would work quite well with the windbreak - but obviously not enclosed - you can buy bedroom annex for one side though.

Hope this helps

Lindsey

thanks for clearing that up lindsey.  We already have the annex so space isn't compromised at the minute.  We are very happy with our concorde, just curious to whether it would be possible to buy the extension and fit it to ours.
