Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to recolour the canvas of my pennine fiesta fc it is originally green and cream or grey i think but the canvas on the cabin is very sun faded and i want to re colour the green, what dye or fabric paint could i use, and also it would have to sprayed on or painted on

I saw a tt that someone had tried to dye on Ebay last year. They were selling it because they had given up half way through. It was a total disaster...one half streaky blue, the other half cream. It sold for about 25% of what it would have sold for if they had left it faded.
Incidentally, if you`ve ever proofed the canvas I would think the proofing compound would affect how the dye takes. Post last edited on 10/05/2007 17:48:17

The canvas was reproofed last summer it never occured to me this might affect it if it dyed it

They used to sell a proofer that had dye in it. It made things look like new I wish they still sold it. ------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
