Hi just collected my camplet today. Do any of you lock the trailers to your car whist towing them. I am on my own with my sons and would hate to go for a burger at a sevice station and find the trailer has gone walkabouts! Any suggestions? Thank you.
i wouldn't lock it while towing, by all means lock it when parked. we were advised that by locking it while towing it would be very difficult, if not impossible, for emergency services to disconnect the trailer from the car if due to an accident they had to.

Halford or any car assessory shop, or a caravan retailer or somthing like ebay. for travelling all we use is a hitchlock that fits into the small key shape hole on the trailer cost about £5.00 but for short stops puts your mind at rest.

I have to have a hitch lock as a condition of my insurance so I bought one that can also be used to secure the TT to the car when parked. I got mine from Towsure.
