Hello, we have just purchased a Trailer Tent and have since found out it is an 1980's Raclet CAPRI, its brill' the kids love it (as too do the dogs!) we have also bought a replacement awning that is nearly twice the size of the supplied one. With any luck we could attatch both awnings and end up with a 10' x 16' living space!!
well, after 10 1/2 on trains. (the things you do to save e-bay delivery charges, I get FREE travel on all trains, as I joined the Railways in BR days.) I have the 'new' awning home it's off an IRIS i will be trying it on with the wife later, i'll let you know how I/we get on
Well we did it in the in-laws (also neighbours) back garden. And it went up easily enough. The only problem was the wall zips on the Original Capri TT don't fully match up with those on the Iris awning. But as my wife is a wizz with the sewing machine I/we are quietly positive that it can be sorted!
thats a result, we've got a raclet herald that has a 16' x 14' foot living space. it's huge, wouldn't want one much bigger if at all.
only thing is we were away in the storms at kessingland at the weekend and the small tear in the front door mudwall, ended up (thanks to the kids) being the full length of the door - draughty or what?
