Hello I'm after some advice on repairing a rip in our Outwell Hartford L tent. When we took our tent down last week we managed to tear one of the side panels. The rip is fairly clean but about 24 inches long. Can anyone recommend the best way to repair this problem, unfortunately the tent is not that old so we would like to be able to continue using it for the next couple of years.

Any help appreciated

Have heard there is a sort of glue which seals tears together - get it at a good camping shop like Outdoor World etc

I would have it profesionally repaired I think you would be surprised how reasonable it is. We had our canvas repaired at Doncaster Don valley sports for under £15, ask your local dealer.
